Price Comparison: Nappies

Having a baby consuming nappies at the rate that makes you feel everything else is cheap.  Hunting
for cheap and best nappies is an on-going adventure.

Brands:
- Only two brands were highly recommended via various sources.
- Put a comment if you want to recommend other brands.

Huggies - nappies/nappy pants
- Somehow it is the best.
- Girls or Boys.
- The number of nappies in Bulk-size package was reduced as noticed on June 1, 2012. Effective price increased!

Mamia
- Aldi homebrand
- Said to be as good as Huggies but at a lower price.
- Unisex only.
- I start using this again due to Huggies price hike.
- Aldi has reduced prices on the Mamia ranges; there is also jumbo box available at the moment. (Oct 2012)

Where To:
- Put a comment if you know a cheaper place.

Costco
- Sold in mega box.
- One location in Melbourne: hard to get to and harder to park a car
(Need to consider the cost of petrol unless you think going there is a weekend getaway/family trip.)
- Noticed prices hiked as normal bulk-size package reduced sizes at supermarkets.
- Noticed its prices reduced during the period that Coles/Woolies has nappies on special.
- New price updated as 13 July 2013.

Coles/Woolies
- Sold in various size.
- Cheaper when it is on special.

# Huggies Bulk-size products have reduced their package size, roughly 10% reduction; effectively increased Huggies price by 10%.  Price hike at Costco as well.  I am not happy with this at all.  Looking forward to buying Mamia now. (June 1, ,2012)

  3. Snugglers are great - I think as good as Huggies, similar price to Mamia and you can buy online :)

  4. After using Huggies over a year for my son, I have started trying a few alternatives in order to save a little cash. Snugglers are not as good. They are not bad...but they don't have the absorbancy that Huggies do...no way. Babylove are also not too bad, but Huggies are still better. Will try Aldi brand next :)

  5. I used to have to go to Sam's Club to buy big bulk diapers but now I can have them sent right to my home for free! Also the price is great because I get more for my money. At Sam's I could only buy a 144 pack of diapers for the same price and now I can get 180 diapers online. Trust me you can't go wrong with honest diapers!

  6. This isn't the case for cloth nappies Australia has to offer as they are kinder to the baby's skin and cause a smaller amount of skin irritation and nappy rashes.

The Bose Soundbar 700 Won't Connect to App

Bose has one of the best speaker sound. I learnt about Bose more than 25 years ago and still a fan.  I bought Soundbar 700 in 2018.  It took me a while to set it up but it has been giving me troubles once a while.  Recently, I was not able to connect Soundbar 700 with my phone.  Done the factory reset on the soundbar, it didn't work. I spent hours reseting everything multiple times and finally I found this article,  https://www.bose.com.au/en_au/support/articles/HC1380/productCodes/bose_soundbar_700/article.html .  Tweaking them all and finally got it to work again. I think the most important setting is to TURN WPS OFF on the router!  Hope it helps.

Brivis Heater - Error Code #69

My Brivis HX23 Heater broke down this week.  H01 Code #69.  This code was not even listed in the User Manual!  Searching around the web and here is what I found: Secret Reset: This is not in the User Manual.  On the networker controller press FUNCTION > 1 > 4 keys and the screen will go blank and come back on after 30 seconds, this has rebooted the main PCB and reset the fault code. Use this with caution as too much gas build up could cause an explosion. Use it only after the unit has enough time to air out the gas build up. What is Code #69 or any other unpublished codes?  The best way to find out is to open up the heater unit.   There is a little LCD on the PCB showing what error exactly is. (Note: Opening up the unit may void your warranty.)
